An Introduction

Digital Advisory Africa was formed out of the experience gained by founder Alex Acton having worked with businesses over the course of the last decade in improving their digital ecosystem.

Having lived and worked in developing parts of Southern Africa, it was on his return to South Africa where Alex joined a digital team working with a series of SME’s and large pan-African businesses, gaining exposure to a multitude of regions, industries and speciality service providers. Alex worked in an assortment of roles during this period, spanning operational to strategic, which meant that he garnered a great understanding for the challenges faced, but also deeply understood the available solutions and what their successful implementation is able to provide.

It is with this experience, visibility of the disruption playing out across industries as a result of digitalisation and a keen passion for technology that inspired the founding of Digital Advisory Africa, commonly referred to as DAA.
